On all of my products you'll find a pink note that reads: A portion of the profits from the sale of all Meredith Baxter products will be donated to the Meredith Baxter Fund for Breast Cancer Research.
I have received tremendous response from my customers for supporting a cause close to so many of us. Be it friend, family-member, coworker, or self, it is hard to find anyone who hasn't been touched by breast cancer. I've been very blessed in my life. It's just a small way of giving back. Where your money goes In the past, I have made donations to the Revlon Cancer Center at UCLA and to the University of Minnesota Hospital. Confirmation of future fund activity can be found by contacting the California Community Fund (www.calfund.org).

About my products It thrills me when I hear how my products are working. When I started out, I knew I wanted my products to have aloe and glycerin (which are in almost every item in my line today). Both are fabulous for helping to heal and condition. But I was thrilled to see the extent to which other ingredients work. Natural botanical extracts help stimulate and rejuvenate the skin. As I've learned more and more about what our skin responds to, I've altered the ingredients of my creams and treatments, dropping some, adding some. I've added caffeine, an anti-inflammatory, and green tea, an anti-inflammatory and an anti-bacterial.
I'm particularly pleased to tell you about the new micronized vitamins that have been added. As wonderful as it is to be able to say I have Vitamins A, C, and E in my products, it's best if those vitamins can actually penetrate the skin! Only when they are micronized, made much smaller, can they be absorbed into the outer layers of the epidermis and into the pores of the skin. Once there, these antioxidants help to combat wrinkles caused by aging and sun damage, loss of collagen and elasticity. |
